Two of the shining lights of modern alternative music will also play Temple Newsam next June. Get ready for Easy Life’s genre-bending anthems from debut album Life’s a Beach’ and Sea Girls’ irresistible indie singalongs from new album Homesick’ having blown fans away at Live at Leeds in 2018 and 2019. Also on the bill, the groovy electronic soul of Honne and the tongue-in-cheek bubblegum pop of Aussie duo Confidence Man.
Rounding off the first announcement is a host of top new musical talent, all of whom promise to be highlights of next year’s festival season. Alt-pop star Finn Askew, off-kilter indie gems Courting and indietronica superstar-in-waiting Porij sit alongside Leeds’ own bright young things L’Objectif, 60s-inspired New Zealander Molly Payton, Wrexham indie rockers The Royston Club and fast-rising Doncaster songwriter ADMT you’ll be able to say you saw them all before they hit the big time.
We’re incredibly excited to release the first ever Live At Leeds: In The Park line up, promoter Joe Hubbard told us. After the most difficult couple of years it felt amazing to deliver Live At Leeds: In The City this year, and following it up with this brand new event for 2022 makes the future feel really positive. Hopefully everyone loves this line up as much as us, and our loyal crowd enjoy having two festivals to look forward to in 2022!
That’s right fans of the venue-hopping fun of past Live At Leeds festivals don’t have to worry, they’re still doing them! Live At Leeds: In The City is just moving to later in the year, with its annual city-spanning feast of new music returning on Saturday 15th with the line-up to be revealed early next year.

Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned pro, Bilsdale Riding Centre will help you get the most out of your riding experience. They have horses and ponies to suit all abilities, as well as a web of routes on their doorstep. From heather moorland to tightly packed forests, you’ll see the North York Moors and all of its wildlife on your ride. Treks include gentle hour-long sessions on the bridleways and two-hour stretches that take you up onto the moors. Experienced riders can push themselves on a full day trek, but you’ll still be accompanied by an expert instructor.
Boltby Pony Trekking and Trail Ride Centre is based on a working farm at the edge of the North York Moors. They’ll pair you with a horse or pony that’s suited to your ability, before you work your way through forests, moorland or classic bridleways. The group sizes are small with 3 to 4 people and you’ll be grouped with riders of a similar ability level, so nervous riders can go at a comfortable pace, while pros can canter across the moors. The treks usually last one or two hours, but they also do half-hour mini treks to give beginners a taste of the joy of horse riding.
